University of Oklahoma Technology Librarian, His Team Use 3D Printers to Create Masks to Send to Medical Centers
Bobby Reed, a technology librarian at the University of Oklahoma, has a specialty in three-dimensional printing, a talent he’s using to make masks to help during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“They can make a dent in some of these problems or at least provide equipment that is better than nothing,” Reed said.

“We have teams that are producing shields for surgeons. We have another team specifically looking into regulation and legality,” Reed said. “And then, we have another team that’s just looking into different filters they can build with things around the house.”
