University of Maryland: Coronavirus Update From Adirene Lim, Dean of Libraries
From a Statement by Adriene Lim, Dean of Libraries, University of Maryland:
The mission of the Libraries is to support the research, instructional, and learning enterprise of the University of Maryland. With this in mind, we’re following the latest campus directives about the evolving Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation, and treating all library users’ health and safety as our highest priorities, as we adjust our operations and services.
From March 18 through April 10th, McKeldin Library will remain open, Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. (Weekend hours will be suspended.) Interlibrary loan services, consultations with subject librarians, course reserves, physical borrowing of materials, and other services will continue, although turnaround times may be affected by our reduced on-site student staffing.
