Norway’s UNIT and Taylor & Francis Group Sign a Three-Year Transformative Open Access Publishing Deal

From a Joint Announcement

The Norwegian Directorate for ICT and Joint Services in Higher Education and Research – and Taylor & Francis Group, one of the world’s leading academic publishers, today announce the signing of a three-year partnership, beginning in 2020.

Providing long-term stability and certainty over access and costs, this transformative deal ensures researchers from UNIT’s 23 Norwegian institutions can publish their research open access and have continued read access to the Taylor & Francis and Routledge portfolio of journals, stretching across science, technology, medicine, social sciences, and humanities.

This ‘read and publish’ agreement enables consortia members to focus on working with academics in Norway to advance and support their research objectives, in the knowledge their reading and publishing needs are secure.
