Now Available: Keyword Searchable Video of Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s Testimony Before U.S. House Judiciary Committee
Google CEO Sundar Pichai testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Judiciary Committee at a hearing held earlier today in DC. Pichai answered questions on a number of topics including data collection, data privacy, data security, algorithm bias, and political partisanship.
The C-SPAN Video Library provides a keyword searchable version of a video recording of the hearing. Users can keyword a mechanically generated transcript (using the closed captioning from the broadcast) and then click to view those words as they were spoken during the hearing.
Users can also create custom clips from the video. This feature is free but does require a C-SPAN account (also free). To learn more about clipping take a look at this user guide.
