The head of the New York Public Library is in the running to be the new CUNY chancellor, The Post has learned.
Anthony Marx is a top contender to head the university system, the largest urban public university in the country, according to a CUNY insider.
The City University of New York’s board, the majority of whose members are appointed by Gov. Cuomo, will vote at a future meeting on a new leader.
