High-Level Summit Meeting on Open Access Negotiations Takes Place in Berlin

Berlin last Wednesday was the internship for a first international meeting of academic open access negotiators. At the invitation of Horst Hippler, chair of the German conference of university rectors and the project DEAL initiatives, representatives from all over the world with their views and talents of the ongoing negotiations.
As a special guest for the EU, former DG Robert-Jan Smits, also attended the meeting with a delegation from the University of California.
