From the Association of Specialized and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASCLA):
Members and leaders of ASCLA and FAFLRT (Federal and Armed Forces Libraries Round Table) have been working for two years to plan the merger of the two groups. The process reached a milestone at the 2018 Midwinter Conference, where the ALA Committee on Organization (COO) approved the request for dissolution of FAFLRT and the subsequent merger with ASCLA to form the new Association of Specialized, Government, and Cooperative Library Agencies (ASGCLA).
