U.S. Congress: Video of Today’s “Cybersecurity of the Internet of Thing” Hearing
The Subcommittee on Information Technology, U.S. House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform held a hearing today titled, “Cybersecurity of the Internet of Things.” A video recording of the hearing along with the prepared statements of the witnesses are embedded/liked below.
Purpose of the Hearing
- To examine the use of devices that comprise the Internet of Things (IoT) and their current and potential uses in federal government.
- To explore potential cyber threats posed by the use of IoT devices.
- To review private sector recommendations for securing the IoT, and explore potential legislative solutions.
