Singapore’s National Library Board Launches New Mobile App, Book Genre Themed Subway Trains with Recommended Reads QR Code
From Channel News Asia:
App users will be able to download up to eight e-books, an increase from the current quota of six e-book loans per user.
Working in partnership with the Land Transport Authority, NLB also launched two trains decorated in themes organised around book genres, including mystery, fantasy, self-help and autobiography.
The trains will also carry QR codes linked to a website with recommended reads. There, members of the public can read book excerpts before they decide to download the app.
