New Briefing Paper on Open Access Business Models Released

On 4 and 5 April, policy makers and research stakeholders are discussing ambitious actions to decisively move forward with the transition to Open Access to scientific publications at the Open Science Conference organised in Amsterdam by the Dutch Presidency of the Council of the EU.
To aid policy makers and stakeholders in making the necessary decisions on a crucial aspect of Open Science, Science Europe is today publicly releasing a briefing paper on ‘Open Access Business Models and Current Trends in the Open Access Publishing System’.
The briefing paper, put together by leading experts in the Science Europe Working Group on Open Access to Scientific Publications and available immediately, provides decision makers with a condensed analysis of current business models and trends in scientific publishing.
