Live Today: U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations Hearing on Library of Congress FY 2017 Budget Request
The Library of Congress FY17 budget request hearing before the Legislative Branch Subcommittee, U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations is scheduled to begin sometime around 3 p.m. Eastern Time and will be streamed live here.
Acting Librarian of Congress David Mao will testify.
Additional LC leadership will also attend and answer questions if/when called upon.
The U.S. Copyright Office is a part of LC and the United States Register of Copyrights Maria A. Pallante is scheduled to attend the hearing.
Pallante has also submitted a written statement that’s now available online. It’s titled, Fiscal 2017 Budget Request for the U.S. Copyright Office.
