Video: “3D Printing for Academic Research at the J.Willard Marriott Library, University of Utah: A Year in Review”
From the University of Utah:
In this presentation staff from the Marriott Library’s 3D printing and scanning operations will review projects and lessons learned over the past year as 3D media has continued to gain the attention of research and teaching faculty.
2015 saw the installation of 3D printers in the Marriott Library’s Knowledge Commons for open use by students and faculty, as well as the expansion of the Marriott Library’s 3D printer fleet.
The review will consist of successes as well as failures, and will provide a snapshot of the connections to curriculum, research, and ongoing developments in this space.
