Updated Statistics About the Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC)
A post today on 025.431: The Dewey Blog from the DDC team at OCLC (publishers of the classification) included a chart with some updated statistics (as of September 1, 2015) about, “the database associated with the English-language version of DDC 23.”
For example:
- 40,181 Explicit Numbers in the DDC Schedules
- 12,195 Facets
- 103,146 Relative Terms
