More Data! Michigan Launches Open-Data Mapping Portal
From the Michigan Dept. of Technology, Management & Budget:
Plotting the locations of numerous geological features, demographic information, transportation options and other data sets became more accessible with today’s launch of the Department of Technology, Management and Budget’s (DTMB) GIS Open Data website.

The GIS Open Data portal will continue to improve over time as more information is uploaded to the site from state agencies, local municipalities and other verified sources. The site can be accessed at www.michigan.gov/openmichigan.
