New Initiative: Sunlight Foundation Begins Inventory of Federal and State Criminal Justice Data
From the Sunlight Foundation:
As part of a new initiative, the Sunlight Foundation has begun amassing an inventory of public and privately-produced criminal justice data.
So far we have an inventory started with information from 26 states and the federal government. When we’re done, we’ll have an inventory of data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Ultimately, we plan to create a tool that allows people to search for data and provide information about datasets that will help guide their research.
