Nate Hill Heads to NYC, Joining METRO as New Executive Director
Congratulations to an infoDOCKET friend and colleague Nate Hill on the announcement of his new job! Exciting news!!!

The Board of Directors of the Metropolitan New York Library Council (METRO) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nate Hill as Executive Director. Nate comes to METRO via Chattanooga Public Library, San Jose Public Library, and Brooklyn Public Library. He will join our staff in early June.

Most recently, Nate served as Deputy Director of the Chattanooga Public Library, where he led the 4th Floor project, a 12,000 square foot library loft space featuring apublic access makerspace, civic laboratory, and gigabit laboratory. In addition to his work at the library, Nate served on the board of Chattanooga’s Enterprise Centeras well as the nonprofit Causeway. He was named a “Mover and Shaker” by Library Journal in 2012. Nate earned his undergraduate degree in art from Skidmore College and an MLIS from Pratt Institute’s School of Information and Library Science.
