Canada: St. John Free Public Library Releases Book Discovery App For Kids, Developed by a College Student

The Saint John Free Public Library has a new mobile app for its youngest patrons.
My Book Buddy is an app for smart phones and tablets designed to help children and their parents find books without scanning shelves.

Families can choose a category, see the book cover, select the book and then read reviews.
UNB {University of New Brunswick] computer science student Nick Pothier volunteered to create this app for the library, after the library advertised for help.
