MOOCs: W3C and edX Announce Partnership and Launch HTML5 Course

The W3C today announced a new member partnership with edX on its Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) platform under the name W3Cx.

The first W3Cx course, HTML5-part 1, will focus on Web design fundamentals at an intermediate level. It is widely recognized that HTML5 is and will be the essential technology for organizations delivering applications across multiple platforms.
HTML5-part 1 will be taught by Michel Buffa Professor at the University of Côte d’Azur (UFR Sciences).
