Update: The Dewey Decimal System By the Numbers (December 2014)
025.431: The Dewey blog from the DDC team shares a few updated numbers about the classification in a recent post.
For example:
- DDC now has 40,159 EXPLICIT assignable numbers in schedules (including built numbers)
- 370 relative index terms were added during 2014
- 3,228 BISAC mappings are available.
