GPO Begins Process to Obtain ISO Trusted Digital Repository Certification For FDsys (Federal Digital System)
From the GPO (via Federal Depository Library Program):
The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) has begun the initial process to seek certification for its Federal Digital System (FDsys) [officials source/database for U.S. government information] as a Trustworthy Digital Repository (TDR), from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 16363).
This certification will validate that FDsys, its infrastructure, and its supporting organization are reliable and sustainable, in order to ensure the highest level of service to our users.
