FindAway World Gets $500,000 U.S. Air Force Contract For Preloaded, Secure E-Reader Devices
Let’s Review:
1. In August, the U.S. Air Force wanted to learn more about companies that could provide them with a secure, pre-loaded e-readers for use by USAF libraries. In many respects, similar to what the Navy offers with their new NeRD ereader.
2. Later in the month, the USAF published a synopsis saying they were planning to award the contract to Ohio-based FindAway World.
FindAway World tech powers the NeRD.
3. The other day a contract for $499,000 was formally awarded to FindAway World.
