OPACs: Stanford University Libraries Launches SearchWorks 3.0
The launch took place on Sunday (September 7th) and according to a blog post by Tom Cramer, Chief Technology Strategist, Associate Director, Digital Library Systems & Services, is a “near-complete rewrite of the SearchWorks application, and the first major update to the look and feel of SearchWorks in four years.”
Cramer’s blog post has details about what’s new or has been enhanced in SearchWorks 3.0. including:
- Mobile Friendly
- Updated Detailed Record View
- New “Resource Type” and “Media Type” Facets
- Easier to Use Advanced Search
- Zero Results Page
- and More
