Environmental Data and Imagery: New Version of the “NOAA View” Data Exploration Tool Released
From the NOAA Environmental Visualization Laboratory:
A new version of NOAA View was released today with a new interface and a significant data addition, Suomi NPP VIIRS daily global True Color satellite imagery.
NOAA View’s new features include the ability to capture regional images at multiple resolutions, export images as PNG and Google Earth files, share links to data sets or exact dates and zoom in on a particular image, change displayed data units from metric to U.S. and export images for the NOAA Science on a Sphere.
