“The Library’s collections are so rich with visual content, from maps and posters to photographs and sheet music,” said the Library’s Director of Communications Gayle Osterberg. “We are excited to share these treasures with Pinterest users.”

In celebration of summer, the Library’s Pinterest site debuts with content introducing the institution and reflecting the season. Initial boards include the Thomas Jefferson Building, the Library of Congress Magazine, the Library of Congress Shop, the National Book Festival, vintage travel posters, baseball and The Star-Spangled Banner, which celebrates its 200th anniversary this year.
