Milestones: GPO’s Federal Digital System (FDsys) Hits One Billion Retrievals
From the U.S. Government Printing Office:
The U.S. Government Printing Office’s (GPO) Federal Digital System (FDsys) has achieved the milestone of one billion document retrievals.
The one billionth document retrieved on FDsys was a Federal Register notice from the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The most retrieved item on FDsys is the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (Public Law 111-148), with more than 14 million retrievals since the law was passed in March 2010.
FDsys offers free public access to nearly one million searchable titles, and that number continues to grow every day.
