The Provincial Archives is the official repository of the Government of Alberta and is mandated to acquire, preserve, and make available records of enduring value related to the history and culture of Alberta. The PAA preserves the collective memory of Alberta and contributes to the protection of Albertans’ rights and sense of identity.
