Korea’s National Heritage Online Portal Goes Live

Citizens can now learn about Korea’s cultural treasures on the new Korea National Heritage Online portal which provides access to integrated digital cultural data.
Run by the Cultural Heritage Administration (CHA), it brings together information collected from existing subsidiary websites and also has 1.8 million new pieces of data on the national heritage.

The portal’s search functionality allows users to dig out digital content that is otherwise hard to find, including detailed interpretations of cultural assets, excavated relics and research data.
Visual material including original images and video clips provide viewers with a better understanding of Korea’s history and culture.
