IFLA’s Metropolitan Libraries Section Releases Latest Statistical Survey, Data From 56 Urban Public Libraries Located Around the World

From the IFLA Web Site:

There was participation from 56 libraries from all over the world.
The [2011] survey presents:

  • more than 20 indicators which give a snapshot of current trends regarding inputs, collections, expenditures, staff and outputs.
  • for the second year, data about hot topics such as electronic services and social networking
  • the ranking of top libraries in various measures or ratios
