Oregon: Falls City Library Closing Over Budget Cuts
UPDATE: Falls City Library Gets Short-Term Reprieve (via The Itemizer-Observer)
Library received a $2000 donation on Monday.
From The Statesman-Journal (Salem, OR):

Next door to Falls City High School, the library is part of the Chemeketa Cooperative Regional Library Service, but its operations are subsidized by the school district.
“They are one of our members and the smallest member,” said John Goodyear, CCRLS executive director. “They have been supported by the school board (in recent) years.

“Our fundraisers are not going to be happening,” said Holly Kraus, the Wagner librarian. “We decided that we are not getting the support we need for the fundraisers.”
