Here’s a brief snapshot of the DDC 23 EN database (the database associated with the English-language version of DDC 23) as of 1 October 2012:
- 38,000+ explicit assignable numbers in schedules
- 12,000+ facets (building blocks from Tables 1-6 + internal add tables to be added to show languages, geographic areas, ethnic/national groups, genres, etc.)
- 100,000+ Relative Index terms
- 26,000+ mapped terms from LCSH, BISAC, and MeSH
