Federal Government Information: A New Online Research App from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Beta Labs
The new app went live earlier this week on the BLS Beta Labs web site.
BLS Data Finder (0.1)
Data Finder is a new search and navigation tool for BLS time series data available on the BLS website. Rather than searching individual data sets, Data Finder allows users to conveniently search multiple data sets all at once. Users can extract specific data by searching by keyword or by filtering through multiple topics, measures, and attributes.
A few months ago BLS Beta Labs released the QCEW State and County Map Application
Data from the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages.
The application displays geographic economic data through maps, charts, and tables, allowing users to explore employment and wage data of private industry at the National, State, and county level. Throughout this application, URLs are specific to the data displayed, so links can be bookmarked, reused, and shared. The application includes maps, charts, tables, and a link to standard BLS data tables and graphs.
