Slide Presentation: “Building and Managing Online Communities: Australian Newspapers and Trove”
Here’s a new slide deck (78 slides) by Rose Holley from the National Library of Australia about how the library utilizes crowdsourcing for newspaper text correction work.
Australian Newspapers Digitisation Program content can be accessed in NLA’s wonderful Trove database.
More than five million newspaper pages have been digitised so far.
Holley’s presentation took place on August 24, 2012 at the International Congress on Archives (ICA) in Brisbane, Australia.
