Atlanta History Center Awarded National Archives Grant to Digitize Civil War Documents
From the Atlanta Business Journal:
The Atlanta History Center will receive a $74,831 National Archives grant to digitize more than 80,000 documents related to the Civil War, according to the organizations.
The History Center and its partners, including the Digital Library of Georgia, Hargrett Library at the University of Georgia, and the Georgia Historical Society, will later this year begin providing online access to letters, diaries, military records, photographs and maps of the Civil War.
