Mozilla Releases Firefox 9.0
FF 9.0 is available for Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android.
Seth Rosenblatt at CNET has posted a complete look at what’s new/what’s different.
Here are two things to look for:
1. According to Mozilla, 9.0 should be about 30% faster than previous versions thanks to an improved javascript engine.
2. If you’re running OS X Lion, two finger swipe gestures are now available
Btw, in other Mozilla news, the organization has announced that they’ve signed a new three year deal with Google to be the default search engine on the Firefox homepage.
