British Library Plans Complete Website Overhaul + Full Text of BL Invite to Tender
The British Library is planning a major project to build a new online platform and replace its existing website.
Over the next 3-5 years it will run a web redevelopment project to create a new online presence that will provide targeted content for researchers, learners and the public, according to an invitation to tender published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
“The idea is to accelerate the transition from physical to digital delivery of our collections,” a spokesman for the library told GGC.
