Illinois State University: Milner Library Receives CARLI Book Digitization Initiative, Internet Archive Will Handle Scanning

Illinois State University’s Milner Library is the recipient of a Book Digitization Initiative from the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI).
The initiative calls for digitizing the proceedings of The Teachers College Board 1950-65, Board of Regents 1968-1995, Board of Governors of the State of Illinois, Illinois State University course catalogs 1859-2011, and the Illinois State University yearbooks 1892-1994.
Scanning will be done at the Internet Archive/Open Content Alliance digitization center in Champaign. The results will be posted to the Illinois State University Internet Archive site with an anticipated completion date in the spring.
