Digital Public Library of American: Beta Sprint Projects From Boston-area (Video Interviews)

August 25, 2011 by Gary Price

From a National Digital Public Library Announcement by John Palfrey, Steering Committee Chair John Palfrey on the DPLA:
I wanted to share with you a video about some of the Boston-area Beta Sprint projects that was created this summer by two Berkman Center interns, Ben Naddaff-Hafrey and Meredith Whipple.  In their words: “We’re interns at the Berkman Center working on the Digital Public Library of America initiative. We’re really fascinated by some of the Beta Sprint statements of interest we got, and we wanted to talk to some local Beta Sprinters about their projects and the DPLA in general.”
Ben and Meredith Talk With:

1. Kim Dulin, Co-Director, Harvard Library Innovation Lab
2. David Weinberger, Co-Director, Harvard Library Innovation Lab
3. Karen Cariani, Director, WGBH Media Library and Archive
4. Tom Blake, Digital Services Manager, Boston Public Library
