"Illinois Libraries, Colleges to Share $1M Grant"
Dozens of Illinois libraries and community colleges are recipients of state grants to expand broadband Internet access to education, employment and reading services.
Secretary of State and State Librarian Jesse White announced Monday that 41 public libraries and community colleges will share nearly $1 million.

White says the grants will help “bridge the digital divide” in Illinois.
