B&N Releases Major Update To Nook Color Platform Including Introduction of Apps
Barnes & Noble held a webinar today introducing several new features to Nook Color platform. TeleRead editor Paul Biba attend the webinar and has posted his notes here. B&N said that customers want more tablet features.
Biba also mentions the introduction of apps, a full-featured email client, and Flash.

50% of apps are $2.99, majority $5.95 or less.
About 125 apps as of today built by third party developers. More than 5000 developers registered.
Publishers include: National Geographic, Lonely Planet, and Conde Nast.
