Election Results: OCLC Americas Regional Executive Committee and Global Council

From an OCLC News Release:

The results are in! On 13 April, during the Global Council Annual Meeting at OCLC’s headquarters in Dublin, Ohio, Anne Prestamo, Americas Regional Council (ARC) Chair, announced the ARC’s member-leadership team for 2011–2012. She also announced the newly elected OCLC Global Council Member Delegates from the Americas Region. Congratulations to the following individuals, who will take office 1 July 2011.

OCLC Americas Regional Council Executive Committee Members
(Term: 1 July 2011 – 30 June 2012)

Vice Chair/Chair-Elect:
Barbara Preece, Dean of the Library, California State University, San Marcos (San Marcos, California, USA)
As Vice Chair, Barbara will become a Global Council Member Delegate for the term 1 July 2011 through 30 June 2014. She will also become Chair of the Americas Regional Council Executive Committee on 1 July 2012, for a term of one year.
