After About 438 Days Flickr Is Accepting Registration Forms For The Commons
- Thanks to the Indicommons Blog for letting us know that after a considerable amount of time, the Flickr Commons is once again open and ready for institutions to register for membership.
Fiona (aka Squirrel Monkey) from Flickr Writes:
We’ve been closed for far longer than we would have liked to have been but rest assured we’re looking forward to welcoming more new institutions and more extraordinary photos to The Commons in throughout 2011.

- IMPORTANT: Squirrel Monkey Also Says:
If you’re an institution that has already registered or are somewhere in the middle of the process of getting ready to launch (eg. have signed the additional Commons Terms of Service agreement with Yahoo! Inc.) – you don’t need to re-register. Please holler here and we’ll get back to you via FlickrMail /email individually.
