Happy International Children's Book Day!
Since 1967, on or around Hans Christian Andersen’s birthday, 2 April, International Children’s Book Day (ICBD) is celebrated to inspire a love of reading and to call attention to children’s books.
Learn more on this web page from the organizer of ICBD, the International Board on Books for Young People (IBBY).
Today might be a good day to visit or take another look at the International Children’s Digital Library on the web. It’s a great resource that deserves your attention and use. Make sure to take a look at their book database search interface.
Finally, the International Children’s Digital Library is available to mobile users with apps for iPhone (free) and iPad (free).
They also provide StoryKit another free app that allows users create electronic storybooks.
