Online Maps: I Heart NY Museums (Beta) and the Cultural Diplomacy Toolkit
For consumers, the just-launched IHeartNYMuseums.com collects the sometimes elusive information on free-admission times at more than 100 museums in New York City in one location. The website also lists regular hours, fees and locations.
For arts providers, on the other hand, there is Battery Dance Company’s Cultural Diplomacy Toolkit, a project that centralizes the lessons learned by the modern dance troupe during three decades of touring. A modified Google Map is used to share detailed information about international touring and cultural relations in locations across the globe.
