Text and Data Mining: Video Recording of CRL’s “Mining Big Economic Data” Webinar
The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) “Mining Big Economic Data” webinar took place on October 28, 2014 and runs one hour.
Here’s how the event was described by CRL:
Previous CRL webinars on text and data mining revealed high interest among librarians in how researchers are using big data and large bodies of text. This webinar will explore how the Economist Intelligence Unit supports the complex global data needs of major academic research projects in the field of international trade and economics. Presenting will be Robin Bew, Managing Director of the Economist Intelligence Unit; and Chris Pearce, who directs the EIU’s global data operations.
We’ve embedded a video of the webinar at the bottom of this post. You can access the slide deck here (PDF).
