Israel: Jerusalemites Borrow More Than 1.3 Million Books from Municipal Library, Circ Up 30% vs. Previous Year

Jerusalem residents borrowed over 1.3 million books from the city’s municipal library in 2013, representing a 30 percent increase in the number of books borrowed during the previous year, the Jerusalem Municipality said Tuesday.

In 2013 there were 48,054 subscribers to the library, 24,000 of which were comprised of children and teenagers.
