60 Minutes broadcast an interview on Sunday night between Charlie Rose and Jeff Bezos.
It runs 14:08.
Near the end of the interview Bezos shows Rose a prototype of a service that Amazon hopes to launch in the coming years (perhaps 4-5 years). Bezos is clear more that more work is needed.
Having drones deliver packages of five pounds or less direct to the doorstep of a customer within 30 minutes of the time the item is purchased.
Bezos is clear that along with more development time needed FAA approval is also something that will be needed.
60 Minutes has additional video/conversations with segment producers about the Amazon.com drones here.
The 60 Minutes/CBS website includes two clips that were not included in the final cut of the interview.
