Social Media Milestone: Tumblr Hits the 100 Million Blog Mark

Celebrate with this Tumblr history timeline posted by a Tumblr staff member.

The first Tumblr blog went online in January 2007. 1 million blogs were online in May 2009.

As of today those 100.3 million blogs contain 44.6 billion posts.
