TVEyes, a service that has been around for many years, provides keyword search and alerts from television (all 210 U.S. DMAs), national and international cable networks, and radio stations from around the world.

From a TVEyes Announcement:

“We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive collection of news and business sources for our customers from leading suppliers around the globe,” said Paul Al-Nakaash , Head of Content for LexisNexis Business Information Solutions.  “Partnering with TVEyes enables us to offer access to a selection of broadcast licensed TV and radio news content.”

The first content to be provided by TVEyes under the agreement is from the United Kingdom: BBC TV and radio and Independent Television News (ITN) will be made available to subscribers who will use keyword search to find and play clips that mention words or phrases of interest.
