New Advanced Options Added to HathiTrust’s Full Text Search

Some Advanced Search options were added to HathiTrust Full Text Search in February.

From the the MLibrary (University of Michigan) Blog for Library Technology.

Advanced search allows users to combine a full-text search with searches within specific metadata fields such as Title, Author, or Subject.

Example searches can be seen in the blog post.

Today, we’ve learned that new functionality has been added to HT Advanced Search.

You can now combine up to four different fields connected by the “AND” or “OR” operators, and any limits set are retained if you click on the “Revise this advanced search” on the search results page.
