Queens Library First NY Public Library System Library to Lend Out Preloaded E Readers (Pilot Project)From the Associated Press:

The Queens Library is becoming the first library in the New York public library system to lend e-readers.

Under the pilot program, 50 Nooks will be available for check out at the library’s Central Library in Jamaica, starting on Thursday.
